All Jewelry

Personally handcrafted, each piece of jewelry carries a story, an inspiration from everyday objects, to nature, to simply pure abstraction. It is a physical manifestation of thoughts and desires that are meant to be worn and to hold their own in a world of mass produced design.
Coral Clutches

Coral Clutches

The Coral Clutches are bespoke leather clutches, handcrafted using individually cast aluminum nuggets that mimic the organic shape and form of corals. Each piece is unique, as no two metal corals are ever alike and cannot be replicated.

Coral Collection // Bones from my Ocean

Coral Collection // Bones from my Ocean

Mimicking the flora of the sea, Coral Bones, takes inspiration from the natural textures of of corals & languid feel of underwater plants merging soft forms with hard brass. Exquisitely handcrafted by the most skilled artisans from India. This collection has been thoughtfully sculpted to be delicate yet strong, just like you.
The Capsule Collection

The Capsule Collection

Often as artists, one finds unexplored thoughts from past dialogues. The Capsule Collection is an offshoot from our Kinoko collection, a bridge to our Spring Summer'20, by the Sea. With statement chokers & hoop earrings, this is the ideal collection to dress up a cocktail evening.
The Concrete Capsule

The Concrete Capsule

Inspired by the changing nature of cities, landscapes and industrial progress often synonymous with construction and evolving architecture.

The concrete pendants incorporate the same skill with which the walls and pillars of new buildings are erected. They do not have a base support with the pendant back made of metal - instead the pendants mimic the way metal girders are used to reinforce the strength of industrial structures. This essentially means that there is a thin wall of concrete embedded within each pendant and the skill lies in ensuring that it doesn’t break while being so thin!

The Drill Bits Collection

The Drill Bits Collection

These neckpieces have been inspired purely from industrial tools. The holey cheese block looking pieces you see here, are usually random brass slabs, that are used to check drill bit sizes before the workman actually drills through metal.
I happened to have chanced upon these abstract cut pieces many months back at a hardware factory and was fascinated at how gorgeous they looked without meaning too.
Some things are even more beautiful because they are simply so unaware of their own beauty.
The Hardware Collection

The Hardware Collection

This was our first tryst with making wearable jewelry using hardware. We wanted to use hardware as an integral part of making chic, well finished and fashionable jewelry that made a statement.

It began with trips to Old Delhi's markets and experimentations with using brass plumbing washers welded into amorphous forms resembling the structure of atoms to make the 'Random Bolts' ring.

We instinctively decided to call it the Hardware Collection because each piece in our nascent collection was a unique element sourced from hardware stores like the 15 ampere fuses for  the double fuse ring and fuse ladder earrings, watch dials, test tubes and clamps and at a molecular level this collection was to set the tone for what Studio Metallurgy would be known for – Art, Design and Innovation.

STUDIO METALLURGY KINOKO COLLECTION

The Kinoko Collection

Kinoko which literally translates to 'mushroom' in Japanese, is the muse for this collection. The ethereal delicate nature of wild mushrooms, the deep dark ridges that texture their underside, makes for a beautiful imagery in jewelry. Every piece has been personally handcrafted and finished by exceptionally skilled Indian artisans.
